- A passport which is valid for at least six months beyond entry date and has three or more blank visa pages.
- Two recently taken passport-sized photos with a white background.
- One fully completed online visa application form. Please select an appointment between 12pm and 1pm for our agent to lodge your papers.
- A copy of your hotel booking confirmations in Ghana for the duration of the stay.
- A colour copy of your yellow fever vaccination certificate. This is mandatory for all travellers except those under nine months old. You must have received the vaccine at least 10 days and no more than 10 years before your entry.
Additional requirements for multiple entry visa:
- Your passport must contain a previous visa from Ghana.
- If you are applying for a visa with longer than six months validity, please ensure your passport is valid for at least the length of this period from the date of entry to Ghana.

Do I need a visa to catch connecting flights via Ghana?
Those passing through the country’s airports to catch a connecting flight do not need a Ghana tourist visa, provided they do not leave the international transit area.
Can I stay in Ghana for longer than the duration of my visa?
Tourist visas can be extended by up to three months by contacting the Director of the Ghana Immigration Service. However, you may need to prove you have sufficient funds for the rest of your trip.
When is a Ghana tourist visa valid from?
A Ghana tourist visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue, rather than the date of entry into the country.
