How to obtain a Ghana Business Visa - 3 simple steps
- A passport that’s valid for more than six months beyond entry date, and has at least three blank visa pages.
- Two recently-taken passport sized photos with a white background.

- A copy of the letter of invitation from your host company in Ghana — — you’ll find a template on page three of our pack.
- A colour copy of your yellow fever vaccination certificate. This is compulsory for all travellers aged over nine months. You must have received the vaccine at least 10 days, and no longer than 10 years, before your trip.
Additional requirements for multiple entry visa:
- Your passport must contain a previous visa from Ghana.
- If you are applying for a visa with longer than six months validity, please ensure your passport is valid for at least the length of this period from the date of entry into Ghana.

Does a Ghana business visa cover work activities?
A Ghana business visa does not allow you to engage in any activities that would be considered work or gainful employment. If you intend to visit Ghana for work or labour purposes, you will need a work permit instead.
What should be included in the Ghana business visa invitation letter?
This letter should be from your employer or sponsoring company and include your name, employment status, and the purpose of your visit to Ghana. The letter must also contain the contact information of the party who will be financially responsible for you. When does a Ghana business visa become valid?
A Ghana business visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue, not the date of entry into the country.
