The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:

How we get the personal information and why we have it?
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- It is a requirement set by the relevant institution to complete a service purchased by yourself.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
- Specific information or documents are requested by an insitution in order to aid the completion of the service you have purchased.
We use the information that you have given us in order to carry out the service you have requested (e.g. obtain a visa or carry out a document attestation service)
We may share this information with your employer, university, embassies, relevant ministries etc.

We do not store credit card details ourselves. Payments are processed by Checkout.com.
Any and all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned. What we do with your information?
All data collected during checkout is in order to aid the process of purchasing a service and delivering the service to the customer.
The name, email address and phone number are used for contacting customers if there are any issues regarding their application. We also provide potential customers who have not completed an order with reminders including a helpful link so they can continue their purchase. Customer email addresses are also used to keep customers updated via email and/or text notifications regarding their service.
Customer addresses are used for billing purposes and for determining the delivery address.
Personal information such as name, company and contact number are used to contact those relevant in dealing with certain applications (e.g. contacting HR of your company if your order is via a company).
Your personal details are never disclosed to 3rd parties unless you have given your explicit consent (e.g. during payment processing).
Data Stored
Those who have made orders, including those who have made an account on our website, will have their details stored on our servers indefinitely so that they can easily access them in the future and avoid retyping their information. You are at liberty to log into your account and change or delete any of this information. You also have the option of deleting your entire account in the ‘Account Details’ section after logging in, along with all the personal details within the account. Alternatively, you may email us at marketing@gulfvisa.com regarding any concerns.
Anonymous information is kept for tax and accounting purposes.
Data Transfer:
We transfer data to the payment processor ‘Checkout.com’ in order to process your payment. We do not store credit or debit card details nor do we share customer details with any other 3rd parties. Please check the privacy policy and terms of conditions from Checkout.com when making your payment using credit/debit card for further information regarding payment detail protection.
Some services require information to be submitted via form submissions using Tally Forms. This is used to gather information required for the service such as for visa and eVisa submissions. You can find more information on their GDPR compliance here.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Please email us at marketing@gulfvisa.com to do so or delete your account online by logging into your personal account.
You are at liberty to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we have processed your personal data or not. If we have done, you are at liberty to know what data we have processed, for what purpose and who has accessed it. Any inaccurate data regarding yourself can be rectified upon your request without undue delay and hindrance. You are also at liberty to request restriction of the use of your data.
You may request for the removal of any personal data concerning you at any time if we no longer need the data for the purpose it was collected (i.e. delivery of a service). The only data kept will be extremely particular and necessary such as order history (to prove a service was delivered), necessary information for accounting / reporting purposes and where documents are required by the various insitutitions we work with (e.g. embassies). You will be informed what this is if this is relevant to you.
Documents and information provided may be shared with the necessary insitutions only where it is required to complete the service purchased.
We will always inform you if we have transferred data to a 3rd party. However, we will never do so unless we have your explicit consent beforehand.
Data Breaches:
In the event of a data breach, we will automatically notify a supervisory authority and all affected customers. We will do this within the 72 hours as stipulated in Article 33 of the GDPR rules.
If the data breach is likely to impact customers data, we will inform all affected customers without undue delay, describing the breach.
Our website platform is GDPR-friendly and by default only keeps and processes information required for eCommerce business website processes. Within customer profiles, any customer can delete their profile (right to be forgotten) which will remove the data stored in the profile. Anonymous customers may request the removal of their data via the contact us form or by emailing marketing@gulfvisa.com.
