If you wish to travel to Sudan on tourism, you will require a valid Sudan tourist visa from their embassy. Gulfvisa is an accredited UK visa agency which obtains travel visas from various embassies in London on your behalf, including from the Sudanese embassy in London.
UK nationals must obtain a tourist visa before travelling to Sudan. You will not be allowed to enter Sudan without a prior visa and may even be refused permission to fly without a valid visa. There is only one type of Sudan tourist travel visa available – single entry (2-month validity) visa. Once your visa documents have arrived, the process takes four working days.

How to obtain a Tourist Visa for Sudan - 3 simple steps
- Passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond exit date + at least one blank visa page + should not have any exit/entry stamps from Israel)
- One recent passport-sized photos (must have a white background)
- A fully completed and signed application form (please refer to the pack for the application form - click the download box on the right for the visa pack)
- A letter of invitation from a licensed tourist agency in Sudan - this letter must be approved by the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who will then pass it on to the Embassy of Sudan in the UK. Confirmation of the receipt of this letter by the Sudan Embassy in the UK is required before submitting your visa application (for an example of this letter please see the visa pack – click the download box on the right)
- A copy of the flight itinerary showing return flights
- A copy of the hotel confirmation for the duration of the stay
The Sudanese embassy only offers one type of tourist visa. This is the single entry (2-month validity) visa.
