If you or one of your family members currently work in Saudi Arabia, and for some reason or another you cannot return back to Saudi and therefore your 'Exit & Rentry Visa' has expired, you must apply for an 'Extended Return Visa' to lengthen your exit stay. Please note that your Iqama must be still valid. In order to apply for this visa, you must provide a copy of your iqama and, if you are a wife or a child, a copy of your husband or father’s iqama.

IMPORTANT NOTICE (as of 9/11/18): The Saudi Embassy has changed the rules regarding the extension visa. Note: always round up the lateness duration to the nearest month.
Example: if you stayed here 4 months after your exit/re-entry visa expired, you must pay a 4 month lateness fee + cost of a 30 day validity extension visa £89.
