Please read the requirements below carefully and prepare all the documents listed. Our Mozambique tourist visa pack (in the box to the right) includes all of the necessary forms and a list of the following requirements:
1. Passport — this must have at least three consecutive blank visa pages and be valid for at least six months beyond the date of exit.
2. Two passport-sized photos — these must have been taken recently, and be shot against a white background.
3. A copy of your flight booking confirmation showing return flights.
4. A copy of your hotel booking confirmation in Mozambique. This must be an official letter from your hotel – not an email or third party confirmation. Please download our visa pack to see an example.
Non-Hotel Accomodation:
If you are not staying at a hotel, you must provide an invitation letter from your private host, which states that they take responsibility for your stay in Mozambique. This must be signed by your host and authenticated by an official notary from Mozambique.
5. A fully completed and signed application form.
6. A recent non-online bank statement showing sufficient funds for travel.
The Mozambique embassy offers two types of visas including the single entry (2-month validity) and multiple entry (3-month validity) visas.

Those passing through the country’s airports to catch a connecting flight do not need a Mozambique visa, provided they do not leave the airport and are there for less than 12 hours.
