If you wish to travel to Indonesia on tourism, you will require a valid Indonesia tourist visa from their embassy. Gulfvisa is an accredited UK visa agency which obtains travel visas from various embassies in London on your behalf, including from the Indonesian embassy in London.
Currently, British passport holders wishing to travel to Indonesia on tourism may be visa exempt as they are able to obtain a ‘Visa Stay Permit’ for a maximum period of 30 days on arrival. This period cannot be extended. Those who wish to stay for longer than 30 days in Indonesia must obtain an Indonesia tourist visa prior to travelling. How to obtain an Indonesia Tourist Visa - 3 simple steps
- Passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond exit date + at least one blank visa page)
- One recent passport-sized photos (must have a white background)
- A fully completed and signed application form (https://consular.indonesianembassy.org.uk/visa/) – complete online, print and then sign
- An original letter from your employer confirming your employment (letter must be less than one month old) – for an example of this letter please see the visa pack – click the download box on the right
- Unemployed: If you are not employed, you must provide alternative evidence of permanent residence in the UK, such as a letter from your college/university indicating your position there and the dates you intend to leave and return.
- A copy of the flight itinerary showing return flight
- A copy of the accomodation booking in Indonesia for the duration of the stay (must include applicant's name)
- A recent bank statement (non-online) from your current account showing at least £1000 (not including overdraft) for at least 1 month before you send your documents to us for your visa
The Indonesian embassy only offers one type of tourist visa. This is the single entry (3-month validity) visa.
