This page is for people who already have two UK Passports and need to renew one of them, a process that Gulfvisa can make quick and hassle free! If one of your passports has expired you can renew your passport at any time. Most visited countries needed at least six months validity in your passport including EU countries
Unexpired visas: If you have a valid visa in your current passport, you can still use the visa. However, you must ensure that you carry both passports when travelling (i.e. the old cancelled passport with the visa and the new passport).
Important notices: Please read the appointment system box at the bottom of this page.
For the 6 day service, your new and expired second passport will be sent to you directly from the Passport Office (to your UK address that you wrote on Section 2 of the application form).
How to renew your Second UK Passport - 3 simple steps
1. Fill original UK passport application form that you can get from your local post office (use black ball point pen only with capital letters and no correction fluid)
- Fill out sections 1, 2, 3 and 9. NOTE: for section 1 choose option 'Renewal of your passport' and for section 2 your address must be in the UK. If your appearance has changed you must follow the countersignatory instructions regarding Section 10.
2. Original UK passport that you want to renew AND a copy of the information page of the applicant's other passport which must be valid for at least one year from now.
- If you have dual nationality you must submit both original passports.
- If your other passport (not the one you’re renewing) was issued from a British Embassy overseas, the passport office might ask to see the original passport and so it may take more time to renew your second passport.
3. Two identical passport photos (examples of what this should look like is available in our Pack). It is advised to take them in a professional photo shop.
4. A letter on blank white paper (no letterhead) from you addressed to the passport office, authorizing Gulfvisa Staff to apply on your behalf (you must use the template in our Pack for this)
5. Request letter from UK Company request letter (please see our template letter in our Pack). Applicants who are self-employed must get their letter signed by their accountant.
